Brilliant. It made me cry at the end. I watched the first episode and was hooked, there was so much mystery and set up, that you had to pay attention at all the details on screen. I loved the fact that for once you were not being spoon fed everything, you had to watch and go on a journey of descovery, with a plot bombshell being dropped in every once in a while, for our American audience, the story runs at a steady pace. Introducing new characters gave the show a shot in the arm, making me wonder if they were the good guys or bad, who was I supposed to be routing for? Having old characters come back and finding out how they fit into this new world was class and the interaction between the new and the old was one of the most interesting parts of the show, Watchmen hits a nerve, making the viewer question what they know and how our past shapes our future, giving power to so few, when everyone has a tormented past and how it can play out to effect the wider world, a wrong decision begat a wrong decision, and so on and on the wheel keeps on turning. Great show. I don't know how they follow this. Good luck. Must watch(men).
