This works if you will. Follow the directions and you will see results. The first 10 days are the toughest, so I read what is supposed to be done on each of the 10 days and did it all at once (for 10 days). I was off my metformin by the 2nd day and never got back on it. That was 9 years ago. Over the next 4-5 months after starting the program I went from 180 lbs to 126. If you do not stick to the diet you will gain the weight back, but the good news is the food is awesome! I ate steak, fajitas, broiled or grilled fish, chicken cordon bleu, eggs, cheese, some bacon/sausage/Canadian bacon, grilled and sautéed shrimp, tons of veggies, and eventually whole grain pasta and rice was added back in. When I ate, the good food gave me energy instead of making me tired. Go for it.
