I hadn't watched TVD before I started the Originals, so when this show ended (for which I'm still upset about) I went back to watch TVD just to see the characters again. TVD is a good show but the Originals is just the best! It's not about a teen falling in love with the "wrong" guy, it's about family.The creators gave such depth to the characters which makes you relate to them even though it's in the supernatural world.Klaus is the ruthless one but still has a kind side, Elijah is the caring one but does have dark secrets and then there's Rebekah, Hayley, Hope, Cami, Freya, Marcel and so many others who were not just there to serve the storyline but had their own personalities and feelings. So, if you have free time, do watch the Originals and you won't be disappointed.
