A masterpiece. Especially in 70MM. This is auteur filmmaking at it's finest. Absorbing, intense, disturbing, glorious. By far the best movie of the year. Hardly a off-beat, start to finish. I can understand how some didn't get it. It's true art, not a date night.

Just watched for a second time. Wildly creative. Not for everyone, but for me spectacular. Fun, dark, sexual, sad. All the emotions. The craft of all that stage-set lighting is superb. Great casting, acting, script. A totally unique movie.

The story unfolds in layers. Simple plot really, but the characters and their connection steal your heart. A must-see.

Great visually. But it never fully pulls you in. And it's not frightening. Much prefer the original.

Surprisingly good. Audience clapped. Definitely worth seeing.

Lorrain envelopes us in sublime mood and the most sensual photography. It's a movie about greatness, loss; that crazed mix of triumph and fear. I've read all the reviews in the press about the film being aloof, and without connection. To me that's the whole point. Maria Callas is alone, haughty, disoriented, cold, superficial. It totally all worked for me. Jolie is very good, the epitome of hauteur. She carries the film. Actually, she is the film and I think it's her best work ever. Not for everyone but we loved it!!

Great writing. Casting perfect. Give into it. One of the best on right now. Funny and smart!!

It's a movie. Sit back. Relax. Laugh. Cry. Not everything has to be so damn serious. It's so warm, and tremendously entertaining. Great. Light. What a treat.

Intelligent. Well-crafted. Smart dialog. Captures your imagination. A totally sophisticated show worth watching.

It's Brilliant. Funny. A satire. Winslet is best ever and Shoenearts is her match. It's quick and immersive, and very funny. Best thing on tv right now. Sophisticated. (ps Not for the Marvel crowd)
