Lorrain envelopes us in sublime mood and the most sensual photography. It's a movie about greatness, loss; that crazed mix of triumph and fear. I've read all the reviews in the press about the film being aloof, and without connection. To me that's the whole point. Maria Callas is alone, haughty, disoriented, cold, superficial. It totally all worked for me. Jolie is very good, the epitome of hauteur. She carries the film. Actually, she is the film and I think it's her best work ever. Not for everyone but we loved it!!

Great writing. Casting perfect. Give into it. One of the best on right now. Funny and smart!!

It's a movie. Sit back. Relax. Laugh. Cry. Not everything has to be so damn serious. It's so warm, and tremendously entertaining. Great. Light. What a treat.

It's Brilliant. Funny. A satire. Winslet is best ever and Shoenearts is her match. It's quick and immersive, and very funny. Best thing on tv right now. Sophisticated. (ps Not for the Marvel crowd)

For a light summer ron-com with a sexy twist, all of us here laughed alot and enjoyed it. It's silly and of course cliche, but it works. Especially Jennifer, she can do no wrong here. It ain't Chekov folks, so just sit back and allow yourselves some light fun here. It's worth it!

Overacted. And self-concious. Felt like a long SNL skit...a total Parody. What an oversell. Gaga was lucky with A Star is Born. She was great in that. This not so much. The movie is a big slice of Italian HAM.
