GREAT Story, greater cast, wonderful location shots and production values, Kerry Godliman is a REVELATION as the main character of such depth and arc, I am left agog and all i can really say is one word: WOW ZA, what a gas!!!

Great movie from the seventies, My socialist dad took me to see it in the theater and teach me about scabs are people too i guess. River dying scene stayed with me for life for its realizt horror more scary than any scary movie scene in a realler way.
thus the title. Cast was amazing, Lee Remick, Fonda, etc.
