Ahhh. A poignant, touching, beautiful film that left me hoping, wishing, and in the end, sad, disappointed, unfulfilled and bye bye to 1 hour and 44 minutes of my life!!!! Two stars because of the scenery.

This is the one to watch, aside from the 1994 version with Winona Ryder,& Kirsten Dunst. Another version came out recently with Emma Watson and the amazing Meryl Streep...that version can be flushed.

I have to give this movie 5 stars because I always walk away from watching it with a big smile on my face. It is a feel good movie! (Which I prefer these days. Life is bad enough😉) It has it all. Good guy/bad guy, conflict resolution, bit of comedic sarcasm, touch of romance, dream desire and fullfilment, superb dance performances that, honestly, made me want to get up and dance. ... Really a great flick. I'm sure that if you are a snooty patootie you will find problems with this movie., but to each their own. 5 stars.
