Claire I-know-it-all show. It used to be one of my favourite tv series,along with GoT and WestWorld, but Outlander went from an amazing season 1 and 2, to a watchable season 3 to a very boring season 4 (I really hope they change something or I'll quit after the next episode). Few points 1)Claire character went from passionate and intriguing to flat boring I-know-everything person, always winging about how unfair is life compare to 1960. 2)one of the most interesting of Outlanders was the contrast between past and present (Claire and our world vs Jaimie's), the discovery of unexpected way of life back then, the complexity of it, sometimes harsh and brutal but always very interesting and sometimes more human (for example scottish clan life), now it has just become "how wrong is everything around us and we need to change it as we know better" (Slavery was obviously an horrible thing but do we really need 2 white imaginary Saviours trying to fix it?) 3) Lack of characters, while in the first season there was hardly any character whom u wouldn't care for, in season 4 I can't get attached to anyone, they die too soon without giving us the chance to know them or they are just boring lapdog of Claire (Jaimie included) - Also on a technical level there is so many greenscreen that the quality is dipping down (the boat scene in 04ep01) is so bad that I couldn't get my head around all the blurry edges and patch-in background, the flat lighting on the character on set that didn't match the enviroment and so on. - Pleas I really loved this series don't ruin it further
