I LOVED this Netflix series. I am not familiar with the author/books but I hope the series can continue. The cast was chosen well, although some of the writing for the minor characters is a little exaggerated. Even with that, I still loved the whole piece. Maybe I am yearning for a simpler time. the storylines do present personal issues and choices while keeping overt politics out of the dialogue - thank you. Another thing I noticed was that cell phone use was kept to a minimum. The cell phone was used more as a tool than the realistic addiction - as in real life, wherever you go. Feelings, dealing with real life issues, people caring about each other a lot (more than in real life?) that's what sucks us in. The imperfect main characters, Jack and Mel, are played so well. You just want them to end up together - no matter how complicated life is. I want more !!

I love The View, the conversational format where women share their thoughts, speak with passion and know that it's not a disagreement but a sharing of the minds. A learning experience. I agree with each of them at different times, and appreciate the various points of views. I hope that other groups of women (and everyone for that matter) have similar conversations, and welcome other points of view to their tables. Education is about exposure to all ideas, educational levels - learning from others - not living in a silo with people who are just like you. Exposure is the key. The View offers that in a talk show platform. And, VOTE, everybody!

Excellent "best" programing. All 4 main female characters - Marie, Amber and Detectives Rasmussen and Duvall - are so on point. I don't know if they are all survivors of sexual abuse (in real life) but their (acting) sensibility feels familiar, like a kinship. The writing and storyline is spectacular. What a great project ! Once you are assaulted, you quickly learn that our justice system is archaic and unsympathetic about sexual assault no matter who the victim is, man or woman, boy or girl. Sexual assault is as common as the cold. Our justice system is immune to treating it like a crime. Many assault victims are denied, gaslighted, ignored, and dismissed by police and DAs. I'm glad that Marie Adler finally saw justice in the end but that doesn't happen so often. I don't think the case would have been solved if the 2 detectives were male. I hope the upcoming generation of women are stronger, smarter and more effective than past generations in turning justice around. Women are the future - in families, law enforcement, courts, companies - everywhere! Had Me,Too happened 20 years ago, I would have turned my career to ending violence and sexual assault. So, long story short, I highly recommend "Unbelievable" as a mini-series.

Wonderful doc about strong women finally listening to their bodies and themselves. It's hard to believe that there are women and men in this world who are still embarrassed to confront menstruation, a natural (not dirty) part of the human life cycle. It's as simple as"where do babies come from?" and yet people make babies and don't understand how it really happens?? They attribute it to religion. Yikes! Next up on the agenda? Birth control pill. Condoms. Etc !!!!!!!
