Ella Rae

I saw this at ThesCon in 2019. It was single-handedly the weirdest play I have ever had the misfortune of witnessing. And I was a witness. An unwilling one. The writing felt like a fever dream and the plot was incoherent. Was the corruption of a virgin really necessary? I think not. Also, why was this kid horny for a goat and tree? Like, he really needs to raise his standards. More human preferably. Like I'm sure there would be many girls or boys who would gladly take his innocence. (Also weren't these kids like 14?) Did the villain really think this was the best course of action? I genuinely felt extremely horrified the entire show. (the cast and crew did great tho). My only positive review is that the sound effects were great. Overall, this was one of the worst and weirdest shows I have ever seen. It really did feel like propaganda for a very peculiar cult.
