Very simple and extremely flat with very little or weak character development. On the surface, the story didn't even need characters.

Kinda like walking into a extrenely interesting conversation with no background information on the topic being shared or the relationship of the participants to one another,. Over the course the the conversation, not only are you brought up to speed of all aspects of the characters, you also witness how and why their relationship changed. Wow, that should be the movie's tag line. Just wow.
