One of my least favorites Ghibli films. Problems: 1) 3D animation is not Ghibli's style and takes away from the beauty 2) The soundtrack is very weird, sometimes it's 1970s rock, and other times it's southern fiddling. 3) The character design is, well, very awful. Her facial expressions are over-exaggerated and the character is very flat. 4) Doesn't feel British (and I assume it takes place in Britain because of the architecture and whatnot). Pros: 1) The setting, despite the soundtrack, is nice. The rooms of the house like the garage and library are very unique. 2) The details of the magic and potions are really good. Well, to summarize, would be a decent movie if it was 2D, but it would need more fixing to make it Ghibli-standard.

SPOILERS! This movie is absolutely horrible, some of the powers literally break the laws of physics, the designs for the buildings and ships make no sense at all, and al let every shot has a plot hole. Meanwhile, the twist that the aliens were actually working with the humans to train the kids is absolute idiocracy. The acting is subpar and watching this movie physically hurt. And some people might say it’s a kids movie and realism doesn’t matter, but in saying that lower the bar for kids movies and subjugate kids to horrible cheap entertainment. I did like spy kids though, it was a really good movie set of movies. And to add, this is just a pet peeve of mine but I absolutely hated the fact that there was no realism to the spaceship, there was no centrifuge to create artificial gravity, and why were there tentacles tentacles made no sense

This movie (as I am sure the book does) smoothly describes many answers which we needed. The ending is brilliant and the end reflecting the beginning is brilliant. The boarding of the spinning Discovery-One is amazing, the tense feud between the Soviets and Americans was brilliant. Overall, more action than in the last movie, which I did miss some of the long space scenes. Besides that, a very good film and made me order the book.

This movie was truly an epic. It inspired the entire sci-fi genre and depicted a realistic future as to what space travel might look like. I very much enjoyed Pan Am's space service, and I did like the role in which the Tyco Monoliths play in this movie. Wonderful movie, some might say it's boring but if you can tolerate classical music and space it will be roughly enjoyable.

No, no, no. I'm sorry, this show isn't good. It's just so boring, and mostly everybody's rude. When you have watched the UK version, the US show seems to elaborate the... horribleness... that America illustrates. The UK version has Gred Davis, who is honestly one of the most comedic people out there. The host on the US show is, well, not as flippant. I know it doesn't seem that being less flippant is bad, but it is good when everyone has low dignity and are comedians. I guess the set design is as good as the UK version (besides the Los Angelos style house). All in all, watch the UK version.

This show is a testament to the failure of society. The immorality and absolute horrid things this show puts in front of people. Lives shouted be broadcasted around America and put into peoples faces like mind degrading formula. Film is suppose to be an art form, something to express ideas through. Now it’s this, just terrible shallow plot drama to distract people from the beauty of the universe. Go read a book, watch a meaningful thoughtful movie that makes you wonder and think.

I didn’t mean to find all laws of physics and makes me feel completely uncomfortable. Trains are not supposed to bend the wheels turn it it it doesn’t make sense.

This movie is great and really reveals the major problem occurring in modern politics. It’s not the things that need to be fixed with the people. In today’s American politics, each side is so annoyed at the other, they have enough hatred to kill each other. Some people think that it’s making fun of one side either that be conservative or liberal, when it shows the good and the bad of both and they make. The hunters were too busy looking at the beliefs of the other side and not that they are humans with rights to live, while the hunted were too busy looking at the hunters as these alien creatures or monsters who are idiots and not believing what they believe. Both sides are too opinionated to actually look at the other side and critique it, blindly accept what they themselves believe. All these ideas were wrapped into a comedic action movie with fake protagonist.

I don't know. There must be something better, like the original Thomas the Tank engines... yes... Much better! Go watch that.

It was good, but not great. It's a movie that you would watch again and again, and it would be entertaining. Although the ending was a bit outdated, with the Christmas cards and "We Are Family" song playing, I would watch it again.
