I just watched GMA’s report of the high school wrestler who was forced to cut his hair before a match. As if that wasn’t horrible enough, the weekend anchors commented on the fact that the young man won the match-??!!! At what cost? What did he “win”? It so culturally offensive. The win IS NOT the take away here...at least, it shouldn’t be. The not so hidden reaction of the man reporting the story was priceless. He was disappointed at his colleagues response, and rightfully so.
