Justifing this show because it deals with discrimination in Hollywood isnt enough. Despite a potentially worthy subject matter the series is more cartoonish than a fully realized dramatic story. With some exception the acting is as spotty, over the top as the story line, character development, costumes and cheesy, glitzy, unbelievable sets. This is a world where no gas station would have grease spots on its floor, no car would have one speck of dust on its hood. Hard to believe someone responsible for the magnificent show Nip/Tuck would create this.
