I like that there is a bit of humor sprinkled in. The story has nice plots and sub plots which keeps you interested in what will happen next. The lead, Rana, is so alluring with his quiet unperturbed manner. He’s “the man” and doesn’t need to prove it by playing tough or boasting. All the characters are interesting in their own way. Naga (Venkatesh) is the antihero and a major rascal but likable despite that. Music, effects, cinematography all good too. Generally a serial well worth watching.

The film lingers on unimportant scenes, like someone walking to a car or turning in for bed. Then In what was perhaps the climax of the film when one of the lead characters attacks who he believes was the perpetrator of the films “big” crime, the scene suddenly switches to some after point with the guy getting out of jail. After wasting so much time on mundane activity both before and after the climax and then completely flying over what was perhaps the most important part of the story, this movie left me feeling completely let down. I don’t give the movie one star because of course a lot of good effort went into it I’m sure. But I definitely recommend giving this film a miss, or at least keep the fast-forward button handy.

Poppy is unlikeable. How can it be that you set the main character to be the kind of person who only thinks about herself and treats her husband, her family and everyone else she interacts with as beneath her? The protagonist doesn’t have to be perfect or even good but he/she needs to at least be relatable—at least be able to generate some sense of interest or compassion. Poppy generated none of those feelings in me.
