It is a beautiful movie, with outstanding music and funny characters but, It is a four-star rating because of the message. She was being unreasonable and a bit selfish (fish, mermaid, get it?) but, I like that she went away from her father's beliefs to pursue her dreams even if they were extreme. It gives two messages, You can do anything you want if you pay the price, but also, you can throw your whole life away for someone. The second one is partially true. She did give up her voice to have legs for a few days mostly for Prince Eric, but she always had an interest in our world. Great Movie, four stars.
