Mark Olvera

As I'm writing this in my universe, 20 years have passed since this movie first hit the big screens. The nostalgia is palpable, yet it's age shows. It's flashy throughout, but it does lack impact. The characters don't seem too bothered when someone is killed off. Jet li is an amazing fight choreographer but lacks the skills to really emote anything beyond extreme discomfort. It's a shallow film but a dear one at that. It harkens a time in the early two thousands when all we needed was a quick story with lots of sci fi packed action and cool visual effects.
