Not a good start. The guy seated behind us at the theatre sang along with the pre movie commercials. The movie is all about staying alive by staying quiet. Within the first 5 minutes we knew our ADD/ Tourette’s movie buddy wasn’t a survivor. The grunts, snorts, hmm’s and inane comments would have led to a quick movie death but unfortunately he survived the whole damn screening. Was impressed by Lupita Nyong’o, she at least knew when to keep quiet.

Overdoses of virtue signaling made it difficult. The story had potential but the desire to turn hard left at every turn ended up losing us.

Most of the trauma was inflicted on the viewer and poor old Bruce Willis looked overwhelmed - did someone tranquillise him?

If only I could have been taken back to the moment I purchased the tickets...
