People need to stop saying that this is doing Robert Jordan's book series ANY justice. All of the adaptations have just made a new story, with original characters. The woke agenda feels SO forced and a lot of "critics" who are "superfans" of the books all seemingly have no issue with the plot being butchered. At this point, I'm waiting for the show to announce that they are not coming back for a second season and followed up by uproar from clueless people who truly never appreciated the work Jordan gave us the privilege to read. This is the trash retelling of Moiraine Damodred ft The Dragon Reborn. The acting from Matt Cauthon, Perrin, Thom, Nynaeve and Local are amazing in a show that is ONLY hanging by a thread because they carry the show. The screenwriters RUINED THE PLOT, changed dire characteristics in keystone characters, added fluff pieces and changed storylines when they could have been using that waste of film on detailing the bond and friendship the EF5. Not to mention the fact that they've mentioned a 'multi-headed Dragon' to squeeze in their idea that a woman can be the Dragon as well. Its preposterous! Not because of the idea of a woman being the lead character, but because Jordan already made strong, freethinking women all throughout the series that quite literally, pave the way for the main character.
