I got to know John Lewis in Atlanta in the 1970s when we were fellow classmates in the Leadership Atlanta Program, which connected young leaders from very diverse backgrounds in a year-long program to build the leadership base in the community. At the time, John was heading the Voter Education Project and I was Vice President of Central Atlanta Progress (the CEO business organization). Have admitted John ever since, and loved the film.
