Been waiting 10 years for this game and it is amazing! Still playing but I love the different direction it went regarding story telling. Its as if Varric is reading you one of his novels. The companions are different all backgrounds, ethnicities, cultures, genders, etc. You can have romantic entanglements with everyone of your companions no matter your gender. Which story telling wise I thought was a bit far fetched I mean not everyone like "hot dogs" some just enjoy "Taco's" but its not a huge deal. Game play itselfs was something to get used to, as I came freshly off of Baldurs gate 3, but is enjoyable. Easy to pick up once you do it a few times. I miss when you could play as your companions in battle situations so that miss for me. Seeing how different Southern Thedas is to Northern Thedas is crazy technology wise. Tevinter has a floating palace. Enough said. The cultural details in the smallest ways for example down to the clothing details felt well thought out. At first I didn't know if I would enjoy the artistic style but it grows on you. All in all my ten year wait list has been complete.

AMAZING I loved the game play and the story. I've always wanted to be a viking and the attempt at historical accuracy was great to see. Most games or TV shows just throw that up in the air. I hope there is more DLC coming soon!
