I remember I was so excited when the trailer first released for this game back in 2009. Then when I got it and played it, it cemented itself as some of the happiest memories I had when I was thirteen-years-old. The beautiful original soundtrack by Jesper Kyd that became a staple for the franchise, the enormous improvements from the first game, the compelling story and characters... things I will never relive again and cherish forever. Thank you to the Ubisoft Montreal and Ubisoft Ukraine teams and the director Patrice Désilets for creating this game. It's been awesome. Rebought the game on Steam so I can play it again. I had owned it before on PS4 and Xbox 360.

This game is the true ending for the Assassin's Creed franchise. Why? Ubisoft had committed creative crimes by killing off important characters. We could've had an epic immersive adventure where we become the ultimate Assassin in the modern-day setting, but instead, we're left with an anticlimax. It tells of a bleak cash-grab future where a video game company infiltrated by progressivists will continue to pander to a self-defeatist audience and still don't know at all why they keep losing money. All the games after this one are simply spin-offs that never tie into a bigger narrative. Ubisoft, you made the wrong decision to mess with the original creator of the franchise, and soon, you'll file for creative bankruptcy as well. I will never buy another game from Ubisoft ever again.
