It was a fabulous movie. I read the book maybe 50 years ago & I shared the book with my 3 daughters when the were in their early teens. It was such an emotional movie that brought back a flood memories for me. We all know all females go thru it. The acting was excellent & I LOVED that the setting was kept in the 70’s. My husband & I both send tears.
