So much has happened over the last 4 years it is easy to forget how we ended up in this nightmare. Being reminded of how it began feels kind of therapeutic in a way and gives some renewed hope that maybe things can be different this time around. Jeff Daniels excels in putting you in Comey's shoes and helping you see that even in his straight down the line black and white world that there is still some grey area worth careful thought and consideration. Brendan Gleeson is terrifying as Trump and his performance might warrant criticism if it wasn't so faithful to reality. The timing of this miniseries couldn't have been better. Here's to American Idealism, may we find the strength to plug the hole and refill that dam.
