I am working on my family genealogy and have read numerous books about the pioneers moving across the Ohio Territory and their interactions with the Native Americans, in order to fully understand their struggles beyond the typical history book version. This book is one of the best books I have read, that shows very little to no bias to either party. As I read it, I can compare some factual information to other books and it is right on the money and sometimes better, because the author tries to show no bias. I am also collecting valuable information about my ancestors (both pioneers and Native Americans) as they are named in the book. Excellent writing.
