I love this book. I don't read many stand alones (this is a stand alone, right?) but this one was definitely a good pick. The vocabulary was very rich with many new words that I hadn't known before. Not in a way that disrupts the reading, however. I thought the ending was ironic which made the story, overall, funny. I like how the book rights in not only Cassie's perspective but also in her mom's, Rachael. I have no regret in saying that Rachael is probably my favorite character in the book. The writing style is rich with metaphor, similes, mild jargon which makes it flavorful and enjoyable to read. The plot is intense and curiosity-inducing(?). Highly recommend!
