This album contains the Persichetti Piano Sonata (9th). This piece, along with some Debussy to get you going. I love Jackson Berkey's playing so much. He has well tempered musical instincts, and excellent phrasing. This vinyl album, at least on my system, sounds phenomenal. I pull this one out when I really need to connect to some music I can bond with right away, away from so much day to day noise. Very emotionally satisfying.
