Loved the series. I also did some fact checking and it appears to have reasonable historic content which was interesting to learn about. I thought the acting was wonderful in a down to earth way and showing the daily life in that time. The chemistry and love between Simon and his 1st wife then Manuelita was beautuful. His struggles in the end brought many tears. Well done to all the cast.
