Very good interpretation and true to the feel of the books. My only gripe would be some of the casting. Fringilla for example is supposed to resemble Yenefer according to the books (and the games) yet she is portrayed by a black actress. This is just a small thing though and only if you are familiar with the Witcher lore would you even notice. Henry Cavill more than makes up for any of the poor casting choices that were made as his representation of Geralt couldn’t be better.

Try’s to be too artsy but the plot is so slow you just end up losing interest. It’s just endless shots of Brad Pitt looking sad. Tetris the movie would be more entertaining!
