I must say I was left disappointed! The movie began well enough. Great action sequences, cinematography, chase scenes, action, guns etc. And then it became more about Daniel Craig as Bond and not Bond itself. I’m sorry Mr Craig. I have been a massive fan of your Bond films (well not Quantum of Solace) and I know you contributed quite a bit to the story line and plot of this film, but this film is very self indulgent. This was more about you and how you wanted to exit the franchise rather than carry on a story that is bigger than one actor. There were too many PC moments in this film for my liking. By trying to win everyone’s votes you forgot the essence of the theme and story. You may as well have been kissing babies…oh wait, you did that too. Changing the direction of the franchise for the future was not your decision to make. However, it certainly looked like you made it your decision with this film. Will I see it again, probably. It is a good film. But I expected so much more and I have been left disappointed.
