Naval Sub or the Star Ship Enterprise?
Very roomy!
I suppose a camera crew need room to stretch their legs too.
Exciting and interesting concept and storyline, but evidently poorly researched and with an illogically far fetched script.
Bolshy, immature, emotional, argumentative lesbian duo. One suffering mental trauma and acute claustrophobia, in a dysfunctional relationship, bullies her way around a nuclear submarine titering on the edge of nuclear engagement, the other takes on the Royal Navy and Mi5 armed with a delusional sense of power and entitlement.
Poorly researched = In the interests of global security, both would be in jail for their conduct.
Far fetched = In the interests of global security, it would NEVER get to the press.
It's a shame that this great talented experienced dynamic cast put their names to such a wacky script.
The whole story would have much much more credibility, weight, emotion, suspense, tension and feeling if it wasn't a story built around gung-ho stubborn irresponsible hyper-entitled investigation and was built around all the crucial delicate dangerous sensitivities of every single detail regarding underwater military murder, politics, mental health, egos, love and the unaccountable, passionate and zany world of activism.
"My murder investigation is more important than the lives of millions across the world" - seriously?
It would be more fitting if it was a comic or cartoon.
If the BBC are wondering why people are no longer watching- here is your answer.
You can't sell TV licences or complex drama to the Woke mob and you can't claw back your hardcore following by producing dramas made up of a rich tapestry of marginally offensive inaccuracies.
I think the BBC owe the Navy (and the actors) an apology.
