11 years later i revisited this gem and could not be more proud of Zoya Akhtar. Sadly this film was released at a time where movies were all about corny romance and cliched action packed sequences, at least the hit ones. But Akhtar has smartly yet beautifully portrayed her love for cinema and what goes behind big banners. This movie felt so real and believable that even i could relate to it, someone who has no relation to the glamour world. The choice of actors, every single one, from Farhan to Rishi Kapoor to Arjun Mathur was an intelligent decision which shows that even for her debut she wasn't just fooling around. One thing is for sure, she is a hard worker and knows what to deliver and how to do that elegantly.
