"The Official Weapon of Mass Boredom" If there was a minus rating, this would be in the negatives. Kannappa isn’t just a bad movie—it’s a disaster festival in every department. I wouldn’t even call it a film; it’s more like a painful endurance test. If you have absolutely nothing to do and seven days to waste, maybe then you can try watching it… but even then, I wouldn’t recommend it. Story & Script Calling this a “script” is a huge compliment—it’s more like a pile of recycled scenes from every devotional movie made in the last 50 years. Cringe after cringe, predictability at its peak. This is the 100,000th time we’re watching the same story, same scenes, and zero creativity. Disaster level writing. Direction Only the director knows what he was doing here. It’s almost as if he said “Okay” to every single shot without watching the monitor. No vision, no soul, no effort. Production & Sets Looks like they rented a local children’s park and called it an “ancient kingdom.” Background actors? Felt like school kids standing for morning assembly during supposedly emotional village scenes. Zero authenticity, zero atmosphere. Costume Design An unintentional comedy show. My 4-year-old nephew could design better costumes. Mohanlal’s getup looked like it was done with an eyeliner and leftover craft paper. Nothing felt natural—everything screamed “cheap costume drama.” CGI From bad to worse. Akshay Kumar as Lord Shiva looked like a badly rendered video game character. The war and fight visuals were so poor, it felt like a free mobile game cutscene. Fight Choreography Full marks… for comedy. Watching the fight scenes felt like watching kindergarten kids fight with umbrellas. No intensity, no creativity—just pure unintentional humor. Music Some random sounds here and there. Nothing memorable, nothing emotional, nothing worth mentioning. Performances Vishnu Manchu – Acting skills? Couldn’t find them under the beard. Expressions missing, performance flat. Looks like the director approved every single take without question. Prabhas – Why, just why? Mohanlal – Laletta, you should’ve thrown away the costume right after makeup. Akshay Kumar – A CGI comedy piece in human form. Sharath Kumar – Another cringe highlight. Final Verdict Kannappa is a masterclass in how not to make a film. No script, no direction, no production value, no good acting—just a long, tiring cringe ride. Don’t waste your time, data, or energy. I took seven days to finish this movie, and I regret every second.

Drishyam 2 is a fitting sequel of Drishym first. Packed with many surprises moments and deserving climax.. Even though, I felt eyewitness character written just to move the story to second part but still convincing background and decent performance of that actor too... Good thriller but first part is still above par..

Perfectly crafted time loop movie. Full mark to Venkat Prabhu for conceiving the politics with out compromise and hate speech. This movie having a chance to blast the 'kuru's in some way or another way but Venkat Prabhu's brilliance worked.. Excellent performances by STR and SJ Surya Must watch theatre experience
