Well! Every bit as good as I had hoped. Excellent acting, strong characters, perfectly designed sets... Also every bit as intense, distressing, torturous and traumatic as I remember from the 1970 movie too.

I can only hope the dialog and acting were intentional. In order to make the movie "look" awful. If so, they succeeded either way. It felt like the first time Bruce Willis saw the script, was on cue cards during the shooting of the film. It's as though the director said to him, "don't act, just read".
