The adaptation of the book to the screenplay was off. It missed some key points of the book. I believe they tried to implement a conventional image, but it just looks too forced. Also, the film doesn't go in-depth with the characters and you can't really get the relationship with Peter.
On the other hand, I think the color grading of the movie was well done it matched Lara Jean's personality.
