After a very long time...I watched a movie which has a serious tone without being too serious. The actors are awsome and the story is fun. The best thing about this movie is it is very engaging. It never bores u and the scenes never stretch unnecessarily like a rubber band. Most of the movies nowdays always have some moments where you are more busy scrolling your phone and less busy watching the narrative. One of the few movies after a long while where I did not scroll through my phone..even once. A must watch fun murder mystery.

One of those movies where you go to the theater with not so hight expectations..but come out thanking urself that you decided to watch it

Wasnt expecting much to be honest..but to my pleasant surprise...this might be the most fun and source accurate manga/comic book adaptation in recent times...esp by Netflix...the characters are true to the manga and the visuals are awsome...Mihawk, Zoro and Sanji steal the show along with everyone in the cast...even the characters...it is one of those live story adaptations where they look manga accurate without even having to try too much...cant wait for more seasons

A movie that makes sense in so many different levels💯💯

The major issue of Ghost Stories is...it is more of a psycological thriller rather than an out and about horror...the main issue is simple..it is creepy ofc but not scary at all and I am not only talking about jump scare scenes. Throughout the 4 stories...the focus on creating a creepy and monochrome atmosphere is way too much than actually trying to create something scary or at least some sort of cliff hanger...rather than a metaphore...esp on the Joya Akthar part where the story was way too predectible...not scary at all and way too dependent on the environment and camera angles. Anurag Kasashyap did a great job..esp with the emotions of a jealous kid...his drawings...but it all went into a comic transformation when the actual monster was shown...it totally killed the jest of the whole movie. Zombies and burnt village is nothing new again..but the acting was spot on...again..a great metaphore..psycoological thriller but not a horror. Karan Zorhar did justice..was grand as expected but good....still not scary. In conclusion...it was very underwhelming and below expectation for me.

For something named "MONSTERVERSE" this movie does not dissappoint at all. Awsome and satisfying monster action...exactly what is to be expected. The plot is regular but hey...this is not Inception kinda movie anyways. A must watch.

Source material wise this id a better Movie. The Disney's adaptation of the Jungle Book is obvioulsy stunning for its own reason and visual effect. The critics critisized the visual effects compared to the Disney adaptation which is obvious. But i dont think it has the massive budjet that the Disney movie had. What I loved about this movie is its darker tone and if you have read Kipling's jungle book stories...this movie sticks to his book. It is like it is a visual representation of Kiplings prespective where as Disney Jungle book always has a modified versions to cater to the target audience. The flow of the story breaks at times but this is a more mature and unforgiving and close take on Kiplings novels. There is nothing much cute about his version but as an adult..i prefer it better.
