I personally found this movie HIGHLY enjoyable. One thing I enjoyed (as someone who has grown up in the States most of his life), and especially in a time period where SA representation is increasing in Western media, is that the Indian characters have no issues with being India (a la Never Have I Ever). I understand that in NHIE that's part of the main character's journey but at least on the silver screen, I love the fact that the characters in Wedding Season are just themselves. There's no talk of "oh you're setting me up with an INDIAN guy" or "ugh all these guys are just TYPICAL Indian men" blah blah blah - Asha's character simply just doesn't want to date and be forced into marriage. I appreciate that of the writers that they kept it about that and not her trying to "escape her Indian-ness." Even Asha's sister having a white fiance was done so well - there was no "escapism" needed for these characters. I really appreciated that direction the writers went with the script. I didn't find myself rolling my eyes at any moment thinking "oh man, now they are catering to the American audience at the expense of the Indian character's character." I really enjoyed it :)

When you come to watch a movie about 2 legendary kaiju wailing on each other, that's what you expect to see, and oh man this was awesome! The fight scenes were amazing, the humans were predictably meh, and that's what a Godzilla film should be about lmao in 2014 Godzilla, he was in there for like 9 minutes the whole movie and it was DARK the whole time so you could barely appreciate the scaley boi. But this movie does a great job of actually SHOWING the main kaiju the whole time. Great, fun movie.
