They play/act in itself was wonderful. I really enjoyed the storyline of the Cherokee. The actors and actresses did a great job! However, the lack of Cherokee in the play/act was disappointing to me. The cast was diversely different from what the play is supposed to represent in terms of a people. Since the play/act is in the Cherokee Indian Nation. This should be a no brainer in terms of proper people representation in the play. There were more Cherokee setting up parking and such than was actually in the theater performing. This caused the play/act to lose its authenticity to me. That’s my opinion and I’m sticking with it. I always wanted to see this since I was a child in the late 70’s and early 80’s. Not sure if the actor’s diversely shifted then or not. But.. my expectations were not met based on the marketing of the show.
