For those below saying that Brooke Shields was only 14 and all this and that about child pornography, well then: 1. She auditioned for the role therefore there was a chance she was going to get the part and obviously her parents were okay with it because the movie was released with her as the female protagonist. 2. It's not child pornography. It's a movie not porn. You cannot try and relate this movie to todays laws and modern life because it wasn't even made today it was made almost 40 years ago. 3. Stop being ridiculous a lot of people saw this movie at age 5 and their parents were perfectly okay with them showing a 5 year old this so shut up and go hate on another movie that you have never seen before. This is a great movie, far better than the 2012 version which totally misses out the getting there at a young age and not starting with them in highshool, plus the first on in 1923 was a silent movie and in 1943 they were still getting used to acting with sound and obviously it wasn't the best. Please watch this version. Thank you for your time.
