I thought that Fiona Bruce was an excellent Chair on her first programme. Her Chairing contributed to a lively and sometimes feisty debate.
She held the panel to account and made sure that the audience got their contributions in. Her interventions were well informed and appropriate. (I did not always think this re DD)
She gets 9/10 from me. It would have been 10/10 if she had not dropped her head on a few occasions, making what she said a bit unclear. She also spoke too fast on a few occasions. And she needs to be a bit more brutal/direct when trying to reign in the likes of Emily Thornbury, who was appalling.
Hope this helps and looking forward to future programmes.
On this evidence, Question Time is in good hands
