Sweet, engaging film with a social message

I enjoyed the first half more than the second half. Overall, it's a great police procedural with good pacing. I was a bit distracted by Tovino's big moustache though.

You need to keep your brain aside to enjoy this movie. So many things don't make any sense. <Spoilers ahead> The cops know the identity of the killer, have access to his old photographs, and yet fail to recognize him? Who does the killer's drawing resemble - it looks like neither Ethan nor Kiefer. So many questions.

PROS: Unpredictable and keeps you guessing; great acting by the lead white actress; Suspenseful and interesting. CONS: One of the lead characters behaving in an unrealistically stupid manner and the sad and (to me) revolting ending. I feel terrible for some of the characters.

Cute, charming easy watch. Family-friendly movie.

Watch it if you have nothing better to do. It's neither scary nor creepy. Surprising to see Liam Neeson and Catherine Zeta-Jones in a dud like this.

Ridiculous wannabe thriller. I think this movie was trying to be dark and clever, but the execution is unbelievably bad.

I was expecting a dark, suspenseful werewolf film. But it's a more about sexism and politics in the police department and an adorable dog trained to kill some shady people. This is a cop drama with some mystery.

The movie gets a bit repetitive and consequently boring after the first 30-40 minutes. The gothic elements are very well-done (the medieval abbey, the graveyard, the foggy forest at night, candle-lit shots) but i wish the story was more compelling. It's basically three good people being chased by a generic evil entity in an old building.

Funny, goofy, and thought provoking film about homophobia. The main lead is great. The first 20 mins are a bit slow, but then the pace picks up.
