This show was truly disturbing to me. When I saw that it was listed as a thriller, I thought it would be exactly that- but instead even five episodes in it’s still portrayed as a star crossed lovers story and I had to stop watching. I am horrified by the story and how graphic it is. You can easily imply and infer without showing graphic sex scenes that are supposed to be between an adult and minor- and let’s call it for what it is, when it is an adult and a minor it isn’t sex it is rape and it’s being glorified as an affair. Bad taste in choosing and then furthermore promoting this show in such a large way Hulu! Surprised and disappointed. I really hope that this ends in a redeeming way but I’m not sticking around to find out.
