The long special last night about Egypt-related murders at the historic Roxy theater had intriguing moments but to me in the end left many loose ends and felt a bit incoherent.

Mixed. Some wit, charm, amusement. But long dry spells of tedium. A bit too droll and complacent.

Moody, melancholy, dark, intense. Good acting throughout. Confusing sometimes, a lot of intercutting which can be distracting but sets a tone.

Very powerful testimonies especially by people hurt by corrupt government in Flint and West Virginia. Inspiring courage and effective organizing by WV teachers and Parkland FL students, and the clearheaded purposeful Congressional candidates AOC and Rashida Tlaib and the vet in WV. The growth of Nazism and analogies here are scary. Overall it's a "pay attention" message. So many topics, though, it's hard to know where to focus first. He comes down as hard on Democrats as on Republicans.
