I went with my grandchildren, ages 8 & 10. They liked the movie and the real animals, however they definitely liked the first one better, as did I. We didn’t get the warm fuzzy feeling with the voice used for Nala. As a matter of fact she was very impersonal. That lost a lot of points. There were areas that lingered and caused us to become bored. I definitely think a younger child would loose interest and become restless. We had no desire to go out and buy the newer version. I would give this a 3 out of 5 stars, at best.
