Spenser Confidential was a blast. Don't listen to the Rotten Tomatoes critics. Winston Duke and Mark Wahlberg have great chemistry, the action scenes are fantastic, and Alan Arkin and Iliza Shlesinger are absolutely hilarious. It's a great throwback to the old school P.I. shows like this film's inspiration, the classic Robert Urich series, Spenser for Hire. Sure, it's goofy and there are myriad lapses in logic, but that's part of the fun. If you're a fan of comedy/action flicks you'll love it.
