I've loved Stephen King since I read Carrie in the 70's. I'm so disappointed that he let his politics completely overshadow this entire book. I felt like covid was a main character. Of course all the bad or uncouth characters were covid deniers. I read it because I paid for it but I wasn't able to "suspend disbelief " as I have been for all of his other books. Ah well. There are other worlds than these.
