The CG is incredible, Avatar Schmavatar! The words "burning car" instead of an actual shot of a burning car really let my imagination run wild! And the dinosaur? Really reminiscent of old Star Trek and their hyper realism. I've just started watching and already know I'll be watching this at least weekly for the rest of my life.

I've loved Stephen King since I read Carrie in the 70's. I'm so disappointed that he let his politics completely overshadow this entire book. I felt like covid was a main character. Of course all the bad or uncouth characters were covid deniers. I read it because I paid for it but I wasn't able to "suspend disbelief " as I have been for all of his other books. Ah well. There are other worlds than these.
