I watched this movie having no idea what's it about. It was nice seeing both Emily Blunt and Chris Evans. The storytelling was great and being based on true events is a plus. It provides important moral lessons here and there. Overall, I'd recommend this film. Not boring at all to watch, and it won't leave you confused or overthinking. Cheers!

I got curious to check out The Luminaries seeing that Eve Hewson was in it. I knew her when I watched Behind Her Eyes. She was a great actress in both. I love the depth in her expressions, making you think of what's inside and what really happened. There were some resemblances in the story as well. Overall, being a limited series, it made for a good watch. Cheers!

I was pretty skeptical watching this on Netflix because of the low Rotten Tomatoes review. But I still decided to venture for myself. I found the subject matter important and very relevant to our youth today... and even for adults. The storytelling was good. The songs had a nice touch. I personally wouldn't expect something with this story to be a musical, but overall, the film worked. Let's all be kind to one another. Cheers!

Great story, great acting, and nice way to end. Wasn't thinking there would be a season 2 anymore, thinking it was just a limited series. But if there is, I'd continue to check it out. The series will keep you on your toes and have you binging one episode after the other. Cheers!

This show has the potential to get you hooked, though I admit it was binge-worthy. The cast and storytelling were great. Episodes were of the usual length (40+ minutes), but a lot seems to happen already in each one. As someone who likes interesting personalities and things psych-related, this show gets 5 stars. Coming from someone who hasn't read the book, I give this show 5 stars. I thought it would just be filled with interesting characters and some drama. But the storytelling started to grow on me and the twists and ending were totally unexpected. Cast was great too. For just 6 episodes of less than an hour each, this was a worthy binge. Cheers!

It's my second time to watch this. The first one was years ago and I barely remember the details - like I just went on with the hype. The story is indeed very compelling. Once you reach the credits, it's like you're reminded to get back into reality. Especially since time in here really just runs at one speed. Awesome cast; nicely delivered. Cheers!

I haven't read the book. Maybe that's why there are lower ratings. But the movie itself was brilliant, especially with Mila Kunis' acting. The other cast were great too. It's good that this movie is out there. It gives a very important lesson. Cheers!
