Video games these days are now review based and Death stranding shouldn't be judged in that regard. Kojima, known for his MG franchise, has been creating video games since 1st gen of video games, and I bring this up because it was a time where video games weren't review based before you made the choice to buy.. In addition, this was a timeline long before online-play began to contaminate the tradition of video games. I've also played video games this far back where JRPG reigned supreme. Unfortunately it only make sense that the unique quality of kojima's game is most notably only recognized by Kojima-fans, and I am not a Kojima-fan. For non-Kojima fans, if it reeks your curiosity that much, wasting $50 to play a game because of an article review or whatever your reason is, will be worth it because it really would make a part of yourself a better person even if it's just a tiny bit. 9/10 because I believe there is no such thing as a perfect video game.
