The Brilliant World of Tom Gates is about Tom Gates. A boy who is more focused on doodling and biscuits than his school work. Tom and his best friend Derek are in a band called Dog Zombies and when Tom buys a copy of Rock Weekly, instead of buying milk, he realises that his favourite band, Dude 3, are going to play a concert in his town. But there's bad news too: Tom and Derek are too young to go to the concert on their own, and the tickets are very expensive. Will Tom and Derek get to go to the concert? This is a book for a child with a age of 7-12. I love Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and this book was just as comedy as it. I would give this book a 5 star.
