The choir songs are heavenly and the lowkey comedy is terrific. Whoopie's "grace" (...yea though I walk through the valley of no food, I shall fear no hunger....and by the power vested in me...) I may be biased, because I love Whoopi in any movie, but this is a truly fantastic film/musical.
