S5:E8 - Michael says “I’m in Abu Dhabi and I’m ashamed by your face and I’ll cover you with my face” he then puts his coat over Meredith's head “now you are sexy and beautiful”. This is extremely offensive as for a Muslim woman who decides to veil her face so that others may not see her beauty, in which she intends to reserve for those who she desires for. Why would a show which broadcasts to millions of people misidentify a culture and a religion which is seen largely barbaric by Americans because of what they see on these sorts shows because of this sort information that is put out there we all know the character Michael is an idiot but frankly I don’t think most of America would see that as a joke as most of America voted for trump in 2016.
